When filling open top pails on rear discharge fillers, the line includes the filling machine (3), a CLA-25 closer (4) or RPC closer, and a conveyor section (5).
The operator of the filler (1) will have pails and lids placed beside him (2).
The operator will place the pails on the filling platforms and operate the filling machine. After a pail is filled, the operator will place a lid on top of the pail before pushing the filled pail to the discharge conveyor of the filler.
Filled pails, with lids on top, will pass through the filler and be closed. The closed containers will move to the conveyor section (5). A second worker (6) will put the pails on the pallet (7).
This organization will, normally, have a production of 5 to 6 pails per minute.
