The KN1-25-SD filler is often used for filling bottles and jugs with volumes from
4 to 25 liters (1 to 6 gallons).
When filling bottles and jugs in this size, we recommend a layout similar
to the diagram to the left.
A conveyor approximately 1 meter long would be placed beside the filling
machine and one of our cap tighteners would be suspended above the
conveyor, using the optional tool balancer.
Filling Containers Less Than 16 Liters (4 Gal.)
The worker would follow these steps for filling and capping.
1. He would place an empty container on the filling platform and press the
operating button to begin filling.
2. When the fill is complete, he will roll the filled container to
the conveyor beside the filling platform.
3. He will place another container on the filling platform and begin
the fill.
4. While the container on the filling machine is being filled, the
worker will place the cap on the container and use the cap tightener to
tighten the cap.
5. He will return to the filler to move the filled container to the
conveyor and begin the filling of the next container.
A second worker will put the containers in a box, seal the box and
put the box on a pallet.
Filling Containers 16 Liters (4 Gal.) and Greater
The worker would follow these steps for filling, capping and palletizing. Because the
filling of a larger container reqires more time, the worker can fill,
cap and palletize.
5. He will put the container on the pallet for shipping.
6. He will return to the filler to move the filled container to the
conveyor and begin the filling of the next container.
